Milk teeth are treated so that they remain in the mouth until the permanent teeth erupt, but in some cases, milk teeth do not fall out and the milk tooth may have to be extracted so that the tooth coming up under milk teeth can develop properly.
In milk tooth extraction, local anesthesia is applied just like the extraction of permanent teeth, and the area where the milk tooth will be extracted is numbed and the tooth is extracted without the patient feeling any pain. In order for children not to feel pain during the local anesthesia procedure, we first apply superficial anesthesia to the area to be anesthetized by spraying. Thus, children do not feel any pain.
